Up in the vastness of the deep blue sky
I look at the stars as they twinkle and sigh.
Awe and wonder fill my heart
God above creates awesome art.
My eyes can see only a small part
of those big, beautiful, gigantic stars.
I lay outside dreaming of things to come
with inspirations from Heaven above.
One day soon it will be you and me
we’ll be together and full of peace.
On our own, never apart,
together forever connected by heart.
Sticking together through thick and thin,
fighting with each other till the end.
When things get tough,
don’t give up for this will never end.
Through every argument I’ll remain,
by your side at the end of the day.
We can stand together with pride
because we never ran to hide.
Ups and downs, twists and turns,
the road of life we will learn.
You’ll be my best friend day after day
a constant companion, my steady mate.
The shoulder to cry on when things get tough,
my rock to lean on when things are rough.
I hold the lock, and you hold my key.
You are always a hero to me.
