In the garden of life
there will be struggles and strife.
From the mountains to the seas,
flowers grow and spread their seeds.
Plant the seeds, let them grow;
water with care so love you will show.
Little birds and butterflies
always sing as they flitter by.
Sometimes storms come along
trying to flood us but we hold on strong.
Thunder and lightning we will not fear,
because we know You’re always near.
Lighting the way when the power goes out,
protecting us from a terrible drought.
Things will get better you will see,
for in the end a promise comes to you and me.
A rainbow to say “I love you”
with colors bright as morning dew.
