Those big blue eyes we can’t wait to see,
Open them quickly so we may feel relief.
Trusting in God with all that we have,
Expectations are high, and will be achieved.
Open your eyes so we may see
The shining light you were meant to be.
Catching a glimpse as we try to understand,
The anticipation of what lies ahead.
Once again you will see the world through His eyes
Giving others a chance to come inside.
Showing your hopes, fears, and dreams
Letting Him help you as He has helped me.
Show us the way of life now to love,
Kindness and Compassion. Faithfulness and trust.
Teach me to help others with all that I have,
Giving of myself without any regret.
You’re always giving all that you have
Helping others who have treated you bad.
Mercy and grace always with you go
Giving to others you don’t even know.
Tenderness is something you always carry,
Giving freely wherever necessary.
